Bredgar Village

Bredgar Village Sign

The parish of Bredgar, in the district of the Borough of Swale, lies on the north slope of the North Kent Downs, within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, between the villages of Tunstall and Hollingbourne.

The parish is fortunate to have an active church, a successful school, pub, garage, farm shop and post office all located within the village. The parish is home to a number of historical buildings and the centre village conservation area is marked with a war memorial and a picturesque duck-pond.

There are a number of thriving organisations making full use of the village hall and on many weekend afternoons a village team plays a traditional game of cricket on the recreation ground.
